Mark boasts an extensive background in music, having performed in various bands and as a solo artist. He began his keyboard journey at age 7 and since mastered several instruments, particularly the piano and saxophone, with a strong passion for jazz, music theory, improvisation, and composition. Jazz, along with blues and funk/fusion styles, is at the heart of Mark's musical pursuits. He regularly collaborates talented musicians, playing with groups like the Tony Giles All Stars, The Good Guys Orchestra (an18-piece modern big band), and Lincolnshire's premier function band, The Golden Pocket Collective. “Being part of such exceptional bands and working with high-caliber musicians keeps me engaged. These experiences not only sharpen my skills but also provide fantastic entertainment for both me and the audiences.” Mark Ferguson Music was established fulfill a lifelong dream of combining his passions as a music educator and performing artist. He lessons on a variety of instruments, catering to students from beginners to those beyond 8, and can also facilitate class/group lessons.
